My name is Stacey Steele and I am a Registered Psychologist in Medicine Hat, Alberta, an EMDRIA EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant in Training who I work with adults seeking guidance with improving the quality of their lives and relationships through ongoing therapy (online or in my Medicine Hat, Alberta office), or groundbreaking EMDR intensive personal retreats in various locations throughout Alberta. I also offer consultation to other mental health professionals throughout North America to expand their technical knowledge and realize their potential as professionals and healers.

My expertise is working with adults and youth who are recovering from relational trauma including childhood abuse, adult children of addiction, adult children of narcissistic parents, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, infidelity, betrayal, and emotional abuse.

I have advanced trainings in dissociation, including earning an Advanced Certificate in Dissociation Studies For EMDR Therapists from The Institute for Creative Mindfulness.

I am a Yoga Alliance RYT® 200 and She Recovers Yoga Teacher & Designated Professional who has taken further training from Trauma Sensitive Yoga West and a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training from Canmore Counselling’s Trauma Yoga Psychology School.

I currently am a member of the Board of Directors with the Psychologists Association of Alberta which aims to advance the science-based profession of psychology and to promote the well-being and potential of all Albertans.

I am an ardent learner and compassionate global citizen who works to embrace decolonizing practices in psychology, create integrity in business, and value a diverse and inclusive community.
